Our tips & general information

Here you will find useful information about your visit to the salt cave:

  • Simply book your relaxation lounger by calling 07243-56570.
  • The visit to the salt cave lasts 45 minutes, admission is on the half hour.
  • The Dead Sea Salt Grotto is occupied by a maximum of 8 people.
  • Unfortunately, comfort blankets will not be issued until further notice. Please bring your own blanket if required.
  • You can combine a visit to the Dead Sea Salt Cave with a visit to the Albtherme or visit the salt cave independently. We recommend visiting the salt grotto before or after your visit to the thermal baths.
  • Children up to 7 years: A visit to the salt grotto is a special experience for children. To ensure a carefree visit to the salt cave, there are special visiting times for families. Children up to the age of 7 can visit when accompanied by an adult. Book your family appointment at the Albtherme ServiceCentre.
  • Children aged 8 to 14 can visit the salt grotto at the regular times if accompanied by an adult. However, we recommend visiting during family time, as mobile phones and reading are prohibited in the adult group.
  • Clothing: Comfortable and light casual clothing supplemented with a cardigan is ideal for your visit to the salt cave, as the room is air-conditioned at 21°C. If you are visiting the salt cave as a guest of the Albtherme, dry swimwear and a bathrobe are an advantage.
  • In order to ensure the consistent purity of the salt, you will receive free shoe covers for hygienic reasons.
